Transition to civilian life is more than a job change.... It is a LIFE change! The REBOOT Workshop™ is designed to assist members of the military in making the social and career transition from years of service by addressing their fears and “re-booting” their skills. This three-day workshop is a condensed version of the three-week course and has been offered at Cape Cod Community College in previous sessions. THIS AUGUST, it's coming to the Falmouth Community Veterans Center!
The Cape Cod Bocce Tournament embraces those new and casual players who have come out to enjoy a lawn game, grab some lunch and a drink, and--most importantly--offer their support to the Falmouth Community Veterans Center. Bocce is a game that can be played by all, learned in minutes, and enjoyed for years—and at a pace that lets you sip from your cup and enjoy friendly conversation between turns with your competitors.
Building on the incredible success of the Falmouth Chapter of G4V, the Falmouth Community Veterans Center has partnered with the Falmouth Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council to bring guitars and lessons to children of military families! Beginning in June, 2025 and open to students aged 9-12 whose primary caregiver is a current or veteran uniformed service member, one-on-one lessons will be provided on 6-string LOOG guitars.
